Amazon on Thursday said it isexpanding the education benefits it offers to US employees. Amazon said it will also fund high school completion, GEDs and English as a Second Language certificates.
Amazon is expanding efforts to push the US federal governmentto legalize marijuana, the company said Tuesday. The e-commerce giant previously endorsed the similarMarijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act of 2021.
Amazon apparently failed to provide lawmakers with the results of its internal investigation into the matter. The Justice Department didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The company says the stick is its first product with live Picture-in-Picture. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max will be available in the United States on Oct. 7 for $55. And now the agency is sending the settlement money to the drivers, the FTC announced Tuesday. However, that practice ended in 2016, the FTC said. Hundreds of drivers complained to Amazon when their earnings dropped, the FTC said. The company agreed to settle the FTC’s lawsuit in February.
