Meta Reportedly Plans Another Round of Layoffs
The latest job cuts would follow a rough 2022 for the social-networking giant. In November, Meta cut 11,000 workers, representing about 13% of its workforce. Earlier in the year, it reported itsfirst revenue dropand saw a decline indaily active users on Facebook. The cutbacks come as advertisers pull back spending amid economic uncertainty. Part of that focus is thenew, $1,500 Meta Quest Pro virtual reality headsetthe company introduced in October.
