Twitter has confirmed it’s beenworking on a long-awaited edit featuresince last year. The news followsnew Twitter board memberand stockholderElon Musk asking users in a pollMonday whether they want an edit button. A Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Monday revealed thatMusk has taken a 9.2% stake in Twitter. The announcement also comes just days afterTwitter joked about adding an edit button on April Fools' Day.

Some users have complained their accounts aren’t getting verified even though they believe they meet the requirements. Two of the accounts appeared to have been using stolen photos. The social connection didn’t provide anymore details about how the error happened. The company said there’s a team dedicated to reviewing these applications.
