Amazon Promotes Doug Herrington to CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores

The 17-year Amazon vet will replace Dave Clark.

Amazon on Tuesday named Doug Herrington as the new CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores.

He has led the North American consumer business since 2015.

With the leadership change, the business will become known as Worldwide Amazon Stores, formerly called Consumer.
