Apple Boots the First Emulator to Launch on the App Store in a Decade

It took only about a decade, butApple finally relaxed the App Store rulesregarding retro game console emulators.

Representatives for Apple didn’t immediately respond for a request for comment.

GBA4iOS creator Riley Testut spotted the copy and wrote about the experienceon Threads.

It also wasn’t difficult for developers to tell it was a phony.

Testut told CNET he had no further comment.

His Game Boy Advance emulator, Delta, is set to be the store’s flagship app.
