Apple Reportedly Plans a Giant, Foldable iPad and Thinner, Folding iPhones

Apple is reportedly developing a giant iPad that opens up to the size of two iPad Pros.

Microsoft and Lenovo have attempted similar concepts in the past with limited success.

Apple did not respond to a request for comment.

The report comes as Apple remains the only major smartphone manufacturer without a foldable equipment.

The company has faced challenges related to the hinge and display screen protection, according to theWall Street Journal.

At the same time, Apple is expected to launch a thinner iPhone next year.
