Apple Reportedly Testing Powerful New M3 Chip for Next-Gen Macs

The M3 chip exists and is already undergoing testing, according to a report fromBloombergon Sunday.

Apple didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Apple launched itsM chipsto power the company’s line ofMacBooks,MacsandiPadsin 2020 after years of using Intel processors.

The new chips provide better performance while also extending the battery life of the unit.

The company reportedly has M3-based iMacs, MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs in the works.
