Apple tightens its grip on remote work, report says

But there were some exceptions andsome teams were more lenient about remote work, according to The Verge.

Now, though, some of these previous exceptions are no longer being allowed, the news outlet said.

Employees reportedly pushed back on this plan,asking CEO Tim Cook for more flexibility.

Apple reportedlydismissed the requestand told employees that “in-person collaboration is essential to our culture and our future.”

Apple isn’t the only tech company grappling withplans to return to the officefollowing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apple didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
