Following Hack, Reddit Encourages Enabling 2FA

After obtaining an employee’s credentials, the attacker had access to some internal information and systems.

Here’s how to set up two-factor authentication on Reddit, according to aReddit Help blog post.

1.press your username in the top right of your screen.

2.SelectUser Settingsand press thePrivacy & Securitytab.

3.UnderAdvanced Security,you’ll see theUse two-factor authenticationcontrol.

To enable it, tap the toggle toon.

4.Next, key in your password and clickConfirm.

6.After setup, you may be asked to sign off and log back in to your account.
