Diem, thecryptocurrencyproject backed by Meta CEOMark Zuckerberg, is shutting down.
Last week,Bloomberg reportedthat Diem was considering liquidating its assets to return capital to investors.
The sale effectively puts an end to the Meta-backed cryptocurrency project.
The rest of the funding came from a variety of investors including Uber, Shopify and Union Square Ventures.
