Hamilton told the CBCshe was asleep the evening of Oct. 3 when she was awakened by her dog barking.
“The next thing was just a huge explosion and debris all over my face,” Hamilton recalled.
A second, smaller meteorite has already been found near the town,according to CTV News.
She also says she plans to keep the meteorite.
