The streamer announced the new offering ina shareholder letteron Tuesday before its fourth-quarter earnings call.
Extra members have a separate account and password.
Netflix also announced price increases on Tuesday.
Standard with Ads members get two simultaneous screens and devices for downloading.
Extra members get one profile, and Standard with Ads customers get up to five.
