Cases rose from 207 reports in 2017 to 3,054 in 2021.
In total, more than 7,000 cases were reported during those five years.
Two-year-olds and 3-year olds accounted for the highest number of reported cases, according to the study.
Out of all incidents, 23% of patients were admitted to the hospital and no reported fatalities.
