Sony has lagged for years behind Microsoft in offering an accessible first-party game controller.

The rectangularXbox Adaptive Controllerwas launched in 2018 for $100.

The Access Controller can be preorderedon the PlayStation websitestarting July 21 and will go on sale on Dec. 6.
