The startup Pano AI uses 5G to send high-resolution video from camera networks in the remote wilderness to fire departments.

Naturally, having a web link of fire-spotting cameras helps direct those resources to the right locations quickly.

This lets PGE know if fires are headed toward its infrastructure.

“And the wildfires do not wait,” Kasner said.

For now, Pano AI has over a dozen clients spread across five US states and two Australian states.
