YouTube's big plans for 2022 include less-toxic comments, more shopping

The video platform is testing a slew of new features, from updates to its user interface to shopping initiatives -- oh, and NFTs could be on the way, too.

YouTube on Thursday unveiled its development plans for 2022 on theYouTube Official Blog.

YouTube is also doubling down on the potential for adding NFTs, or nonfungible tokens, to the platform.

CEO Susan Wojcicki had alreadyput NFTs on the radar last month.

One development is that YouTube TV is finally getting picture-in-picture support for iOS,according to The Verge.
